Sir John Jones’ Message to Vantage Staff
Sir John Jones Thanks Vantage Staff
Hello everyone,
It’s John Jones here. As your Patron, I just wanted to send my best wishes to you all in these testing times.
I also wanted to add my thanks to you for all you have done and continue to do for our young people.
When I was clapping outside on Thursday night at the gate, with my family, for the NHS, for our carers and for our key workers; I want you to know that we were also clapping for you.
Those of you who know me, will know how passionate I am about football and there’s an old saying in the game that:
‘People will remember the name on the back of your shirt, by how passionately you played for the badge on the front of your shirt.’
I want to add my appreciation for your passionate commitment to your students, to your school, to your communities and to each other in the Vantage Academy family, of which I am now proud to be a member.
So stay well, stay safe, stay positive and stay strong.
Thank you.
