Vantage CEO made OBE
We are very proud to announce that Simon Bramwell, our CEO of Vantage Academy Trust, has been honoured with an OBE for his services to education.
Mr Bramwell was Head Teacher at SS Simon and Jude CE Primary School, in Bolton, and led the school on its journey from special measures, when he took over, to becoming an Ofsted outstanding Primary School.
Awarded by Prince William at Buckingham Palace
Mr Bramwell told the Bolton News:
“The whole family had a fantastic day, from start to finish it went perfectly. I was very pleased to have met Prince William and been able to share briefly the mission and successes of the organisation I have the pleasure to lead.
Not only is it obviously a hugely proud moment for me personally, but also for all the people who do the work ‘on the ground’ to try and transform life chances for young people across the region, within our Trust, as well as the governors and trustees who have supported me over the years.”
